App license agreement

This agreement covers the YetiBooks web app at app.yetibooks.com, which is run by Yeti Books LLC ("YetiBooks," "we," "us"). It is between YetiBooks and the business that uses the app ("you"). By signing in or using the app, you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Our bookkeeping, payroll, tax and advisory services are governed by your engagement agreement. Use of yetibooks.com is governed by our Terms and Conditions. If this agreement and your engagement agreement conflict, the engagement agreement controls.

License

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app for your own business while you are a YetiBooks client. You may not sublicense it. We keep all rights we do not grant here, including all rights in the app, its code and its design.

Your account

The app is for YetiBooks clients and the people they authorize. You are responsible for the people you give access to and for what they do in the app. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us right away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

Use the app only for your business's bookkeeping and for lawful purposes. Give us accurate information when we ask.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

• copy, change, or make new works from the app
• reverse engineer or decompile the app, except where the law allows it
• sell, rent, or share access with anyone outside your business
• get around security, access limits or rate limits
• scrape the app or overload it
• upload harmful code or content you have no right to share
• use the app to build a competing product

Your data stays yours

You own the financial records, receipts, messages and other data you or your connected accounts put into the app. You give us permission to use that data only to run the app and provide our services to you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

Connected accounts

The app can connect to other services. Each of them has its own terms, and your use of them is between you and that provider.

Bank and card accounts

We use Plaid to connect your bank and card accounts. You sign in to your bank through Plaid, and we never see your bank password. Plaid's end user privacy policy applies to the data Plaid handles.

QuickBooks Online

You can connect your QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's OAuth sign-in. You choose the company and approve the connection. We never see your QuickBooks password. The privacy policy lists what we read from QuickBooks and what we write to it.

You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time, in the YetiBooks app or in QuickBooks. When you disconnect, the app stops syncing with your company.

YetiBooks is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit Inc. QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc., registered in the United States and other countries.

AI features

The app includes a texting assistant. It suggests categories for your transactions and asks you questions about them. A YetiBooks bookkeeper reviews its suggestions. The assistant can make mistakes, so check anything that matters to you, and contact us if something looks wrong.

Fees

The fees for the app and our services are set in your engagement agreement. This agreement does not add any fees.

Ending this agreement

You can stop using the app at any time. This agreement ends when your engagement agreement ends. We may also suspend or end your access if you break this agreement or if we have to by law. When access ends, your license ends and the app disconnects your QuickBooks company.

Your data after you leave

When this agreement ends, we revoke your QuickBooks token with Intuit and delete it. We keep or delete the rest of your data as your engagement agreement and record-keeping laws require, and as our Privacy Policy describes. Data you already synced to QuickBooks stays in your QuickBooks company.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, YetiBooks makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the app will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for services we do not run, such as Plaid, Intuit or your bank.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, YetiBooks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, that come from using the app. This does not limit any obligation we have to you under a signed engagement agreement.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes

We may update this agreement and will post changes on this page with a new date. Using the app after a change means you accept it.
