We want every home service owner to be able to use yetibooks.com, whether you use a screen reader, magnifier, voice control, keyboard navigation, captions or any other assistive technology.

The standard we build to

We design and test this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means readable color contrast, text that resizes cleanly, full keyboard access with a visible focus outline, form fields with clear labels and error messages, alternative text for meaningful images, and layouts that work on phones.

If something is hard to use

If any part of the site gets in your way, call us at 623-299-7142 or email info@yetibooks.com. We will get you the information or complete the request another way, such as over the phone, and we will work on fixing the problem.

When you contact us, it helps to tell us the page address, what you were trying to do and the browser or assistive technology you were using.

What we do to keep the site accessible

• check new pages and features for accessibility before they go live
• test keyboard navigation and screen reader behavior on a regular schedule
• add captions to video content
• ask our software and service partners about the accessibility of the tools we embed, such as scheduling and form widgets
• train our team on accessibility basics
• offer phone support as an alternative for anything online

Third-party content

Some features on the site come from other companies, such as the scheduling calendar and some embedded forms. We choose partners with accessibility in mind, but we do not control their code. If one of them causes a problem, contact us and we will help you directly.

An ongoing effort

Accessibility is never finished. We will keep reviewing the site as it changes, and we welcome feedback on how to make it better.
